Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
Surprised that I can't see this discussed here - although am sure it is in another thread!

I see we have listed only 22 First Team Squad players when we can list 25. As that includes the likes of Donal Henry is this brave and relying on youth or just plain foolish?

True but I could t be bothered to also say 'well we had zarate and amalfitano to start with but then we sold them to get Antonio and moses in'

Jelavic I totally forgot about - I think we had a month or so with no payet, Carroll, sakho or Lanzini and Antonio hadn't played yet and just had jelavic up top didn't we?

Adrian. Probably.

As I understand it Lanzini , Fernandes & Ayew are all injured.
Arnautovic is suspended, Carroll is presumably on a drip while Sahko paces up and down deciding how he will kill Bilic when he sees him.

Any idea who plays on the left vs Huddersfield?

Spurs have 20 in their squad, Man City only have 18. So no, we don't have the smallest.

We might not have quantity but at least we are consistent and don't have quality either

Three strikers. Two keepers we're riding for a fall.

Sniper - I just realised I don't even know who our third choice keeper is right now, having not made it to any of the away games and seen who is warming up with Adrian and Hart. What African chap, Trott? I think he's Bermudan actually but is it him? I'm curious now.

When we finished 3rd in '86 we had no fewer than 16 in the squad, not sure if Billy Bonds was included as he was injured all season.

Who that has left would you want to see in our first team this season apart from maybe the players we have loaned out?
The worry of course is that we usually have 6 to 10 players injured at various points of the season.

Re: Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
I think Chelsea had a really small squad last season and they went on to win the league.

So, if we use them as an example, we've got a good chance of winning the league.

Except for perhaps the small fact that they had a squad filled with quality and ours is littered with dog shit.

Very simple to answer this - just compare it with the other squads.

Re: Squad Sizes - do we have smallest in PL?
Our squad is miles too light, sheer madness to dilute it as much as we have, been saying this for ages.

Totally and utterly unprepared for the season on so many fronts its embarrassing.

Jelavic is easily forgotten.

In fact, I want to forget him

Sniper - you missed a few on your comparison. In the tinal season at the Boleyn we also had Zarate, Almafitano and Jelavic as well from memory.

Edmilson Fernandez has turned his ankle, might miss Huddersfield according to football London and we are now "stretched to breaking point"

WHERE THE HELL IS DONEIL HENRY?

His photo is nowhere to be seen on the official site(Teams). He returned to the club in January 17 with an injury, but his name does not appear on Physioroom injured players list.
He has yet to play for the first team.

Has he joined the Canadian Mounties without telling Sullivan and Gold?
Perhaps he lives in Knightsbridge with a well known Baroness who likes cock.
